Otterly AI Review (2026): Pricing, AI Models and How It Compares With Sightkick
Updated
Disclosure: Sightkick is our product and competes with Otterly. Every Otterly price on this page was checked on its pricing page on 4 November 2026.
Otterly AI is a good-value AI search tracker with the lowest entry price of the three tools AI models name most often. Lite costs $29 per month for 15 prompts, and the 7-day free trial needs no card (Otterly pricing and help center, 4 November 2026). It tracks ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot by default, with Gemini, AI Mode and Claude as paid add-ons. Sightkick, our product, tracks fewer AI models but adds writing, publishing and outreach that your own AI agent runs.
Key takeaways
- Otterly has three self-serve plans, Lite $29, Standard $189 and Premium $489 per month, plus a custom Enterprise plan from 1,000 prompts. Annual billing takes 15% off (Otterly pricing, 4 November 2026).
- Four AI models are included on every plan: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot. Google AI Mode and Gemini cost $9 each per month on Lite, and Claude $29.
- The free trial runs 7 days with 50 prompts and no credit card (Otterly help center, updated 4 August 2026).
- AI models named Otterly in 31.4% of 12,399 answers in the 30 days to 3 November 2026, third behind Profound and Peec AI (Sightkick data study).
- Sightkick, our product, starts at $39 per month and is built for your own AI agent to run through MCP. It was named in 0.2% of the same answers.

What is Otterly AI, and is it good?
Otterly AI is an AI search monitoring tool, and it is good at that job. It runs your prompts every day and records brand mentions, citations, sentiment and share of voice in each AI model. It does not write or publish content, so acting on the gaps it finds stays with your team.
- Fast setup. Otterly builds a brand report from your first prompts and suggests competitors by industry (Otterly help center, 5 October 2026).
- Seven AI models in all. The four included ones, plus Google AI Mode, Gemini and Claude as add-ons. Otterly tracks Claude through its API, using the Haiku model with web search, not through the consumer app (Otterly help center, 12 October 2026).
- Audits as well as tracking. Every plan includes GEO URL audits and a crawlability audit, from 1,000 audited URLs a month on Lite.
How much does Otterly AI cost?
Otterly costs $29, $189 or $489 per month on its self-serve plans, or $25, $160 and $422 per month billed yearly (Otterly pricing, 4 November 2026). Enterprise starts at 1,000 prompts on a custom price. The headline price buys four AI models. Gemini, AI Mode and Claude are extra on every self-serve plan.
| Plan | Price per month | Prompts | AI Mode add-on | Gemini add-on | Claude add-on |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | $29 | 15 | $9 | $9 | $29 |
| Standard | $189 | 100 | $59 | $59 | $109 |
| Premium | $489 | 400 | $149 | $149 | $439 |
| Enterprise | Custom | From 1,000 | Custom | ||
Source: Otterly pricing, monthly billing, read 4 November 2026. Standard and Premium can add 100 prompts for $99 per month.
Add-ons change the math. Lite with Gemini and AI Mode costs $47 per month for 15 prompts in 6 AI models. Standard with the same two costs $307. SEO consultant Ryan Doser put it this way in his September 2026 review: “So $29 is either a bargain or an opening bid,” depending on which AI models you need (Ryan Doser).
Per tracked prompt, Lite costs $1.93 per month, Standard $1.89 and Premium $1.22, each in 4 AI models. Sightkick Standard costs $0.78 per prompt in 3 AI models. Per-prompt cost leaves out everything else a plan includes.
Is Otterly good for enterprise teams?
Otterly can serve enterprise teams, but it is built for small teams and agencies first. Its Enterprise plan starts at 1,000 prompts and adds SSO, custom payment options and terms, a quarterly GEO health check and a dedicated customer success manager (Otterly pricing, 4 November 2026). The self-serve plans top out at 400 prompts, and Standard can add up to 300 more.
For an enterprise rollout with many AI models and a security review, Profound is the enterprise-first option. See Profound vs Sightkick for its plans.
What do users say about Otterly?
Users rate it highly. G2 listed Otterly at 4.7 out of 5 from 54 reviews in November 2026, with 83% of them five stars (G2). Reviewers praise how easy it is to use, the quick setup and the competitor and prompt tracking. The most common complaints are a learning curve and cost, mostly once add-on AI models are counted.
What does Otterly's own research say about tracking?
Otterly publishes research that most reviews skip, and two findings matter for anyone buying a tracker:
- Track enough prompts. In a 320-prompt data set, going from 10 to 100 prompts cut the spread of brand coverage by about 73%. About half of the sources cited by ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews appeared on only one day in 30 (Otterly, 11 September 2026). Lite's 15 prompts sit at the noisy end of that range.
- Third-party pages count. Otterly reports that brands are 6.5 times more likely to be cited through third-party sources than through their own domains (Otterly, August 2026). A tracker shows where that happens. Getting onto those pages is outreach work, covered in finding the prompts where competitors are named.
Which one do AI models name more often?
Otterly, by a wide margin. In the 30 days to 3 November 2026, Otterly was named in 3,895 of 12,399 AI answers (31.4%), behind Profound (34.4%) and Peec AI (34.1%). Sightkick was named in 29 (0.2%). Otterly's homepage was the second most-cited page in the data, with 841 citations.
| AI model | Otterly |
|---|---|
| ChatGPT | 41.2% |
| Gemini | 29.4% |
| Google AI Overviews | 26.9% |
| Google AI Mode | 28.0% |
| All four | 31.4% |

Some prompts name Otterly in the question, such as a request for Otterly alternatives. Leave those out, and Otterly's share is 28.8%. The data covers neither Claude nor Perplexity, two AI models Otterly can track. This counts how often AI models name each tool. It says nothing about how well either one tracks your brand.
Method: how this data was collected
- Prompts: 100 buyer prompts about AI visibility, GEO and AI search tools, chosen by Sightkick. 17 name a tracked tool. None names Sightkick.
- AI models: ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, each asked every prompt once a day from the US. Claude and Perplexity are not tracked.
- Window: 4 October to 3 November 2026. 12,399 answers, about 3,100 per AI model.
- Counting: an answer counts once if it names the brand at least once. One answer can name several brands, so shares don't add up to 100%.
- Who ran it: Sightkick, which sells in this category. It was named in 29 of the 12,399 answers (0.2%).
Where Otterly wins
Otterly wins on entry price and on the number of AI models. Lite starts at $29 per month, and the 7-day trial needs no card (Otterly pricing, November 2026). Sightkick starts at $39 and its trial needs a card.
- More AI models: Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot are included on every plan, and Claude, Gemini and AI Mode can be added. Sightkick doesn't track Perplexity, Claude or Copilot at all.
- Countries: unlimited countries and languages on every plan.
- Agencies: an Agency Partner program on Standard or Premium adds prompts, pitch workspaces, branded Looker Studio reports and one invoice.
- Recognition: AI models named it in almost a third of answers. They named Sightkick in 0.2%.
Where Sightkick wins
Sightkick wins if you want your own AI agent to do the work, not only to read a report. The platform's MCP server connects Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT, Claude or any MCP client, and an API and CLI (npx -y sightkick) cover scripts. Otterly's MCP lets an assistant read its tracking data. Sightkick's gives your agent every Sightkick tool, so it can research keywords, write and publish pages, and pitch backlinks. Sightkick can also run each job by itself.
- Google's AI at the base price: Gemini and AI Mode count among Sightkick's 3 included AI models. On Otterly they are add-ons.
- Beyond tracking: Search Console data, keyword research, page writing (30 articles a month on Pro), publishing to WordPress, Shopify, Framer or any site by webhook, and backlink outreach from your own inbox (Sightkick pricing, November 2026).
- Where it falls short: 3 AI models, no Perplexity, Claude or Copilot tracking, a card for the trial, and a far smaller presence in AI answers.
Who should choose Otterly, and who should choose Sightkick?
Choose by budget, by the AI models you must cover and by who does the work after the report.
- Solo marketer or small team that wants cheap tracking with Perplexity and Copilot: Otterly Lite or Standard.
- Marketing team or agency that needs more prompts and projects per plan: Peec AI. See Otterly vs Peec AI.
- Enterprise team with a security review: Profound. See Profound vs Sightkick.
- Your own AI agent runs tracking, writing, publishing and outreach: Sightkick, our product.
